https://gauravfinance.co.in (the “Website”) is an online information portal operated by GAURAV KUMAR LUNIA, a Mutual Fund Distributor registered with the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), doing business as Gupta Financial Investments (“we”, “us”, “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use, share and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you.

We follow the code of ethics and conduct prescribed by SEBI and AMFI for Mutual Fund Distributors, including the AMFI Guidelines and Norms for Intermediaries (AGNI), and we handle personal data in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Rules, 2025, as and when their provisions apply to us.

By using the Website or by sharing your information with us, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or submit your information.

Depending on how you use the Website and our services, we may collect the following:

  1. Identity and contact details: name, address, email address, mobile number and other details you give us when you enquire about or apply for mutual fund investments.

  2. Investment-related details: bank account details, folio numbers, investment preferences, goals and risk profile, and other information required in a mutual fund application form.

  3. Nominee and joint-holder details: name, relationship and other details of nominees and joint holders that you provide.

  4. Website account information: name and login details, if you register on the Website.

  5. Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, date and time of access, and cookies or similar technologies.

  6. Communications: details you share when you contact us through forms, email, phone or messaging, including enquiries and feedback.

We collect only the information that is necessary for the purposes described below. Please do not share your passwords, OTPs or PINs with us or anyone else; we will never ask for them.

  2. To submit your applications to Asset Management Companies (AMCs) and assist you with servicing of your existing investments.

  3. To communicate with you about your investments, statements, service requests, regulatory updates and changes to schemes, and to respond to your queries and grievances.

  4. To comply with the code of conduct and norms of SEBI and AMFI, directions of AMCs, and other applicable laws and regulations.

  5. To maintain the records of the “Advisory” or “Execution Only” services provided to you, wherever required by regulation.

  6. To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, misuse and security incidents, and to protect the rights and safety of our investors and the Website.

  7. To improve the Website and understand how it is used.

  8. With your consent, to send you educational content and information about mutual fund products and services. You can opt out at any time.

Fair and accurate dealing. In line with AGNI, we use the address and contact details that belong to you in application forms. We do not substitute our own, our employees’, our agents’ or any third party’s details for yours, and we do not alter, insert or delete any information in an application form that you have submitted. We do not use your information to make false or misleading statements, to conceal material facts or risks of any scheme, or to sell any scheme that is not suitable for you.
 

3. Legal Basis and Consent


We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, to provide the services you request, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us using the details below. Withdrawal does not affect processing done before it, and we may be unable to continue providing certain services, or may be required to retain some records, where the law so requires.
 

4. How We Share Your Information


We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where needed, and only with the following categories of recipients:

  1. Asset Management Companies (AMCs) and their Registrar & Transfer Agents, to process your applications and maintain your folios.

  2. AMFI, SEBI and other regulators, government and law-enforcement authorities, where required by law, regulation, due-diligence requirements or legal process.

  3. Technology and service providers (for example website hosting, email and SMS services) who help us run the Website and are bound to keep your data confidential and use it only for the services they provide to us.

  4. Professional advisers, such as auditors and legal advisers, under duties of confidentiality.

  5. Successors, in the event of a merger, transfer or restructuring of our business, subject to this policy.

  5. Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.

  6. Seek redressal of any grievance relating to your personal data.

9. Children’s Privacy


The Website is not intended for persons under 18 years of age. Investments on behalf of a minor must be made through a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for providing and managing the minor’s information. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children without the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian.
